We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team at Stony Brook University. As a member of our Division of Pediatric Cardiology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to children and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, general pediatric cardiologist position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will join our busy outpatient practice, providing cardiology care to nearly 500,000 pediatric patients in Suffolk County. Outpatient consultations will be performed at satellite offices throughout the county.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient consults at Stony Brook Children's Hospital
- Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, Holter monitoring, and EKGs
- Perform fetal echocardiography
- Participate in research and graduate medical education initiatives
- MD/DO degree
- Board certified in Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
- New York State licensure
- Experience with fetal echocardiography
- Research and graduate medical education experience
