Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Cheeseburger Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met.

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet demand.
• Develop and implement new menu items and specials, working closely with our Executive Chef and General Manager to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly maintained and cleaned, and that the kitchen is kept in a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff, ensuring that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
• Work closely with our Executive Chef and General Manager to develop and implement new kitchen procedures and policies, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

• 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent culinary skills, with a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and WEB-based ordering systems.
