Job Summary

As a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating complex cyber threats, conducting research on malicious software, and providing technical guidance to support the company's cybersecurity efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Malware Analysis: Participate in the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code, utilizing tools such as dissemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffers.
  • Threat Intelligence: Conduct research on malicious software, vulnerabilities, and exploitation tactics to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Incident Response: Provide technical guidance and support during cybersecurity incidents, including analysis, containment, and remediation.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical expertise and guidance to support the company's cybersecurity efforts, including security assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to management and stakeholders on cybersecurity threats, incidents, and mitigation efforts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications: IAT Level II certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, malware analysis, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of malware analysis tools, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures. Proficiency in programming languages such as assembly and web programming.
