About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and improving the lives of individuals with kidney disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, utilizing your critical thinking skills to assess, diagnose, and implement complete care plans.
  • Supervise Dialysis Technicians and ensure the delivery of optimal dialysis care, meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources to coordinate care and troubleshoot issues related to dialysis treatment.
  • Conduct impactful and meaningful education to patients and their families in the SNF setting, leveraging your expertise as a Nurse Educator.
  • Work autonomously, utilizing your multitasking skills to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; minimum of 12 months of RN experience.
  • Previous Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis, and/or Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) nursing experience.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
