About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Master Plumber to join our team at Tempo Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining and pressure testing all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes.
  • Provide professional customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.
  • Test pipes to determine whether systems are working accurately.
  • Interpret and apply mechanical and structural blueprints to plan plumbing repairs and modifications.
  • Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
  • Perform job as scheduled and within budget.
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
  • Respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Operate tools and equipment according to safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience working under a Master Plumber.
  • Texas State Journeyman or Tradesman License - current and in good standing.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Valid Texas State Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete company specific safety guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
  • Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas.
