Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deputy Clerk to join our team in the Loudoun General District Court. As a Deputy Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of clerical duties, including interacting with the public and other agencies, managing case data, preparing court documents, and assisting the Judge in the courtroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse population
  • Manage case data and prepare court documents in accordance with established guidelines
  • Assist the Judge in the courtroom and perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Assess court costs and fines, and process post-court documents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Typing test will be performed at the time of the interview
  • Desired skills include experience in customer service, money handling, and general office-related skills
