As an Advanced Threat Protection Engineer at Global Payments, you will play a key role in ensuring the security of our payment systems. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement advanced threat protection measures to prevent cyber attacks and data breaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's security posture and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement advanced threat protection measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the company's systems.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to quickly respond to and contain security incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in information security, with a focus on advanced threat protection.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL/TLS.
  • Experience with security tools, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
