Operations Manager Job Description

At Mahle Inc., we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our production facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, meeting customer quality and delivery requirements, and working closely with technical engineering support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production supervisors and ensure effective work assignments.
  • Promote a safe working environment and eliminate/reduce workplace accidents.
  • Prioritize process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer expectations for product quality are met or exceeded.
  • Track and maintain maximum utilization of resources.
  • Adhere to established annual goals and continuous improvement of key production figures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management.
  • Five or more years of experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of five years of progressive supervisory responsibility.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, OEE, and production systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and employee development skills.
