Sanitation Specialist Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dependable and skilled individual who recognizes the essential role that sanitation plays in our establishment.

The successful applicant should possess excellent communication abilities, be adept at prioritizing tasks, and demonstrate both proactive and reactive approaches to their work. We strive to maintain a clean and organized environment, and we expect our future Sanitation Specialist to take full ownership of this responsibility.

Responsibilities of a Sanitation Specialist:
  • Cleaning and maintaining floors through various methods (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
  • Collecting and disposing of trash from both indoor and outdoor areas
  • Cleaning, servicing, and restocking restroom facilities
  • Washing windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Participating in security and safety measures (checking and securing doors, inspecting electrical appliances)
  • Assisting in the movement of equipment, supplies, and furniture
  • Reporting maintenance and repair needs to management
  • Maintaining tools and equipment necessary for sanitation duties
  • Requesting supplies for sanitation tasks
  • Coordinating and executing pest control measures as needed
Qualifications for a Sanitation Specialist:
  • Proven experience in a sanitation or cleaning role
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and procedures
  • Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to various situations
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
  • Willingness to work early morning shifts.
