Laminator - Panels

As a skilled Laminator, you will be responsible for performing laminating operations using hot and cold press processes. Your duties will also include material preparation, routing, and assembly of components for lamination.

Currently, we have an opening for a Laminator in our Panels division on 2nd shift (2:30p - 10:30p, Monday - Friday).

We also have an opening for Monday - Thursday 2:30PM to 12:30AM.

Panels Laminator: Starting at $22.52 per hour on 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build panels using skins, core, frames, rails, and other components.
  • Load and unload panels from press.
  • Inspect and prepare press platens for next operation.
  • Prepare skins & core according to process specifications, PQR, Travelers, and BOM (Bill of Material).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schedules.
  • Read work orders, apply materials, and follow instructions per the electronic data system.
  • Calculate pressure for operation for a given press.
  • Perform testing on adhesive per process specifications.
  • Inspect finished product for appearance, alignment, and bonding.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, maintain detailed notes, and fill out all logs.
  • Fill out defect/NCMR data in the electronic data system.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
  • Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
  • Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
  • Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and continually improve 5S.
  • Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
  • Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to work overtime.
Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
