Sensei Ag is seeking a skilled Senior FP&A Analyst with a background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or the agricultural sector to significantly contribute to data-driven decision-making and financial performance enhancement within the organization.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and the ability to convert data into practical insights.Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior FP&A Analyst will be tasked with delivering strategic analysis, forecasting, and budgeting assistance to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
Oversee the creation and upkeep of forecasts and budgets to facilitate both short-term and long-term strategic planning utilizing NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB).
Perform revenue forecasts, cost assessments, cash flow projections, and ROI calculations.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Evaluate financial performance, identify significant trends, and offer actionable insights to senior management to aid in decision-making.
Compile and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior leadership regularly.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects:
Execute ad-hoc financial analyses to support special projects, strategic initiatives, and investment opportunities.
Provide financial guidance for capital investment decisions and other strategic initiatives as required.
Recognize potential financial and operational risks linked to new projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a corporate setting.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company operating in the Grocery channel or the agricultural sector.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred).Proficient in advanced Excel functions.
Preferred Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) with a focus on Food or Beverage sectors.
Understanding of greenhouse operations.
Knowledge of demand planning.
Familiarity with cost accounting principles.
Experience in creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
Educational Background:
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical discipline.
