Claims Appeal Analyst

We are seeking a Claims Recovery and Prevention Specialist to join our team at Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. This critical role involves recovering lost dollars and preventing future denials.

• This is a hybrid opportunity with remote work options available.
• The salary range for this position is $15.50 - $29.14 per hour, based on experience.

• Review claims and identify potential issues to prevent denials.
• Submit appeals on denied claims to recover lost revenue.
• Monitor and report on recovered dollars from appeals.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Integrity team on projects and maintenance.

• A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Three years' experience in revenue cycle, billing, coding, or registration is preferred.
• Ability to obtain AAHAM certification (CRCS) within one year.
• Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with coding and billing terminology.
