Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and processing soiled linens, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, sort, and load soiled linens into the washer(s) and load clean linens into the dryer(s)
- Fold and count clean linens, and record the linen processed each day
- Deliver clean linens to units and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs to supervisor in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
