Job DescriptionWe are seeking a competitive individual to fill the role of Truck Refinish Specialist. This position offers comprehensive training and development opportunities for career advancement through internal promotion.
Responsibilities- Work with the Foreman to determine reparability and prioritize tasks of the job.
- Apply decal designs to trucks after cleaning surfaces.
- Visually inspect parts after processing for defects.
- Identify nonconforming or defective components and take appropriate corrective action.
- Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines, including daily cleaning and routine lubrication.
- Maintain or exceed efficiency goals.
No prior experience in body shop work is necessary, but candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED. Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card is also required.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is around $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. CIT Trucks, LLC provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package, including paid holidays and PTO, choice between three medical plans with prescription coverage, option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts, access to dental and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, company-paid life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4%.
