Radiology Department Lead

The Radiology Charge Nurse is a registered nurse with unit lead responsibilities for patient flow and adjustment of unit staffing to meet the dynamic needs of patients. This role requires ongoing evaluations of patients' acuity, assessments of staff nurses' workload, and anticipation of fluctuations in procedural volume.
This individual will provide program and operational support to the radiology and procedural departments, collaborating with the radiology nurse manager in the development and coordination of these areas. As a clinician, they will work up to 60% of the time providing specialized nursing care to inpatients and outpatients in the radiology and procedural departments.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location in Milwaukee, WI.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Clinical competence and experience in caring for patients undergoing interventional/invasive procedures are required.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing is required, or a current Froedtert Health non-BSN prepared RN with demonstrated leadership skills and a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years.
- Prior leadership experience and moderate procedural sedation competency are preferred.
