Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team at Amphenol TCS. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in high-speed signal transmission and technology development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support New Product Development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-speed interconnect solutions
    • Utilize advanced simulation tools to predict electrical performance of connectors, backplane links, and cable assemblies
    • Design and test high-speed test boards for electrical characterization
  • Customer Support
    • Provide technical assistance to customers on signal integrity-related matters
    • Develop and maintain customer S-parameter models of new products
    • Perform signal integrity measurements and simulations to resolve customer concerns
  • Marketing & Sales Support
    • Develop technical presentations and reports to support sales and marketing efforts
    • Produce S-parameter models of new products to support sales and marketing
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop technical content for new product introductions
  • Capability and Competency Research and Development
    • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and customer requirements
    • Participate in competitive analyses via signal integrity measurement and/or simulation
    • Advise project teams on signal integrity aspects of connector and cable assembly design
  • New Technology Research
    • Investigate the limits of new high-speed connector technologies
    • Predict the impact of new high-speed connector technologies on future specifications and products
  • Communication and Leadership
    • Communicate technical information to various stakeholders, including project managers, engineering colleagues, and customers
    • Act as a technical representative on industry standards committees
    • Lead signal integrity efforts in support of assigned projects
Requirements
  • Education
    • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and 2+ years of current experience in interconnect signal integrity measurement and/or simulation
  • OR
    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in interconnect signal integrity measurement and/or simulation
