Soliant Education is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Elementary Resource EC Teacher to support students with exceptional needs in an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of elementary students with exceptionalities.
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the resource curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to enhance academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and tools to address diverse learning styles and needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary students with exceptionalities in a resource setting.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.
- Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
- Full-time position for the entire school year.
