Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers in the retail banking sector. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of HomeStreet Bank's products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and investment products.
  • Work closely with other business units to identify sales opportunities and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Process complex transactions, such as account changes and loan applications, in accordance with HomeStreet's policies and procedures.
  • Originate consumer loans and act as a customer advocate to ensure prompt processing.
  • Open and close customer accounts, including checking, savings, and money market accounts.
  • Participate in sales programs to generate new customers and meet referral goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Customer Service Representative or equivalent, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and investment products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
