Job Opportunity
Shannon & Wilson is seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Environmental Engineer-Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive environmental consulting and/or engineering services to our clients. This includes planning, data assessment, reporting, travel, and field work. You will also assist with review, evaluation, and interpretation of environmental data and prepare summary reports.

Estimated salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to support client projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Conduct site assessments and investigations to identify environmental hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements
We are seeking individuals with a strong background in environmental science, geology, civil or environmental engineering, chemistry, or other natural sciences. A Master's Degree is preferred. 7 to 14 years of experience in environmental consulting and/or engineering is required. Travel and year-round field work with working hours more than 40 per week and weekends as needed is expected.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, civil or environmental engineering, chemistry, or other natural sciences.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7 to 14 years of experience in environmental consulting and/or engineering.
  • Travel and year-round field work with working hours more than 40 per week and weekends as needed.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, and other federal regulations.
