About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Verge Mobile – a T-Mobile Premium Partner. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and selling T-Mobile products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class customer service by helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey with consultative selling and services.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing your expertise.
  • Approach service and sales needs with care, patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Become skilled and consistently demonstrate the ability to balance customer service experience and performance goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service industry (previous Wireless retail sales, preferred).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
  • Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
  • Team player that can work along peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
  • Can effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check (will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all laws).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Spanish Bilingual Preferred.
