About the Job: We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Buyer and Negotiator to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. in Urbana, OH. This is a 07+months contract opportunity with long-term potential.

Salary Range: $22 - $30/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave.

Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. You will also be responsible for evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
  • Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
  • May require a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools including Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
