About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
