Position Overview:
PURPOSE Engineers is in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Division. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from a location that is mutually agreeable.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will collaborate with a diverse engineering team to lead and implement electrical power system designs for renewable energy initiatives. Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and issuing construction documentation and specifications.
  • Creating bills of materials and conducting power system analyses.
  • Directing the design of low and medium voltage renewable energy projects across various disciplines.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and managing project schedules and budgets.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering client relationships.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BSEE/BSCE or equivalent degree from an accredited institution, ideally with a focus on power systems. A professional engineering license is preferred, along with a minimum of ten years of experience in the design and management of renewable energy projects, including PV solar, BESS, microgrids, and wind energy.

Skills and Attributes:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Expertise in electrical system modeling and power system studies.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in creating accurate engineering estimates and client proposals.
