About Premier Dental Center

Premier Dental Center is a dynamic and collaborative dental practice seeking a part-time licensed dental hygienist to join our team. We pride ourselves on our doctor/hygiene collaboration and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated dental hygienist to provide preventative care and maintenance of patients' dental health. The ideal candidate will have a current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventative care and maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Conduct dental patient screenings and medical history documentation
  • Use Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Participate in virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Illinois
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
