Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating 3-5 axis CNC machine cells and standalone machines, setting up fixtures and cutting tools, and loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machine cells and standalone machines with minimal supervision
  • Set up and prepare fixtures and cutting tools for machining operations
  • Load and adjust CNC programs and offsets as needed
  • Perform quality inspections using height and air gauges and bench inspection
  • Read and interpret basic prints and apply dimensional specifications to inspection processes
Requirements
  • Ability to identify and correctly load and secure fixtures with minimal assistance
  • Working knowledge of G and M codes applied in setting and adjusting offsets and interacting with CNC programs
  • Working knowledge of shop math, including tool geometry, positive and negative numbers, and basic geometry
  • Ability to read basic prints and apply basic dimensional specifications to inspection processes
