About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at ACCESS South Bay. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
Requirements
  • On-call and overtime availability
  • Specialty Surgery experience required
  • Enjoy being a key player on a dynamic team providing the highest standard of patient care
  • Be comfortable caring for dogs and cats, or any other animal that may need emergency or urgent care
