Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Via Christi. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and recording and communicating as appropriate.
  • Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team, including physicians and other nurses.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
