Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Infusion Therapy Specialist to join our team at Providence. This role requires a skilled and compassionate professional who can provide direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic, or alternate living site.

About the Role

This position functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other healthcare workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct Nursing Services: Provides direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic, or alternate living site.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with the patient and/or caregiver, the physician, other healthcare providers, and the payer to accomplish the goals of the treatment plan.
  • Nursing Process: Demonstrates competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other healthcare workers to promote quality patient care.
  • Resource Support: Serves as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs.
  • Communication Link: Acts as the primary communication link during off-hours, providing triage to patients and families.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • License: Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Certification: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • State Licensure: Licensed in states wherever care is delivered upon hire.
  • Experience: 2 years of Critical Care, Oncology, or Home Infusion experience.
