Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Chipton Ross Inc. The ideal candidate will have up to 6 months of work experience in manufacturing/production and be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the production process by closely following Standard Operating Procedures, work instruction documents, and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working safely following all safety requirements
  • Working diligently, following work instruction documents and standard operating procedures
  • Using strong attention to detail to assemble products following guidelines, blueprints and drawings closely
  • Recording correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents
  • Inspecting in-process and finished products as well as packaging and pulling from archives for product sampling
  • Helping the team to improve by actively participating in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
  • Assisting in training co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and have strong verbal/written communication skills. They will also be able to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted and work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required.

Requirements

Accredited High School Diploma or GED

Full-Time; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
