Position Overview:
The Springfield-Greene County Park Board is in search of a dedicated Custodian for the Chesterfield Family & Aquatics Center.
This role involves executing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks within a recreational facility that features various flooring types, including wood, tile, and carpet, as well as multiple restrooms equipped with showers, meeting rooms, exercise areas, and additional facility amenities.
The selected candidate will be required to work during third shift hours, outside of standard facility operating times, which may include weekends and holidays.
Ideal applicants should demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

About Our Parks Department:
The Springfield-Greene County Park is committed to delivering exceptional parks and recreational facilities, programs, events, and services to our community.
Our mission is to positively influence the overall quality of life, health, environmental, social, and economic aspects for families and visitors in our area.
The Park Board oversees 3,200 acres and 105 sites, ranging from neighborhood playgrounds to multi-use recreational facilities and natural resource areas.
This includes four golf courses, three family centers, a zoo, a farm park, botanical gardens, various sports and athletic complexes, two indoor aquatics centers, six outdoor swimming pools, multiple School-Park sites, and over 100 miles of recreational trails, including 70 miles of Greenways.

Qualifications and Requirements:
This is an entry-level position.
While prior experience is not mandatory, previous roles involving custodial responsibilities are preferred.
Some positions may require a valid Driver's License.
