This 13-week assignment will have you working in our busy Emergency Room, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

As a Critical Care Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Providing professional nursing care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological issues.">
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.">
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.">
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.">
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress notes.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A current Registered Nurse License.">
  • At least one year of experience in the Emergency Department or a similar critical care setting.">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.">
  • Strong generalist skills and the ability to triage patients effectively.">
  • Experience with cardiac patients, ICU holds, central lines, BiPaps, vents, procedural sedation, and rapid sequence intubation.">
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain open communication with colleagues and patients.">
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.">
