MRI Technologist

Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and assisting in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI exams on outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and those requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures
- Utilize your expertise to create diagnostic images and provide patients with a safe and positive experience
- Support teaching and continue learning as technology changes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in MRI technology and excellent communication skills. You must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.
