Position Overview:
As a key contributor at Raytheon Technologies, you will play a vital role in the assembly of critical components for advanced missile systems. This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and precision.

Role Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Executing assembly, modification, and testing of ordnance weapon systems.
  • Handling sensitive materials including warheads and pyrotechnic devices.
  • Utilizing computer systems and applications for operational tasks.
  • Coordinating hardware movement within the manufacturing environment.
  • Adhering to established processes and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Operating pneumatic and manual tools effectively.
  • Applying manual torque tools with precision, including values exceeding 250-foot pounds.
  • Following detailed work instructions to guarantee hardware quality.
  • Promoting Lean Manufacturing principles in all aspects of work.
  • Participating in team meetings to enhance production efficiency.
  • Providing guidance and support to fellow team members during task execution.

Qualifications Required:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in assembly or a related field.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Experience in outdoor material handling throughout the year.
  • Two years of experience with a class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and hazardous material endorsement.
  • Physical warehousing and inventory control experience.
  • DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
  • Relevant certifications in hazardous materials and IPC standards.
