As a Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pediatric medical conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as needed
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and families

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Valid RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Prior experience in pediatric emergency medicine or critical care
