Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
