We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Responsibilities- Coordinate nursing care of surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Comply with unit, state, federal, and JCAHO standards.
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from surgery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
- Current and valid North Carolina Registered Nurse license with biannual renewal.
- Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire date.
- ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire and maintained.
- Previous PACU and/or ICU experience required.
