Job Overview

Omega Medical Imaging LLC is seeking a skilled Service Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the repair and readiness of parts and consumables returned from the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and test electronic components using soldering techniques and designated procedures.
  • Drive efficiency in Service Return Material Authorizations (RMA) responsibilities through rapid processing and dispositions.
  • Maintain the Service Training and Testing Area to ensure all tools and resources are available to support the Omega Service mission.
  • Lead inventory management of new and used parts, including ordering and managing Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) Levels.
  • Ensure information gained from product performance, troubleshooting, and process development is entered into knowledge base platforms.
  • Adhere to strict regulatory and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to developing procedures and best practices associated with testing critical parts.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to repair electronic components using soldering techniques, schematics, and designated procedures.
  • Experience with computer hardware and software to install, troubleshoot components, and perform updates.
  • Diligence and commitment to producing high-quality work, with outstanding critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Integrity, patience, and ability to communicate with people under various circumstances.
