About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting cargo to and from various destinations, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy and tractor-trailer GVW capacity trucks to transport cargo to and from customer locations, airline, and trucking terminals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of cargo, adhering to State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.
  • Load and unload freight using a forklift and pallet jack, and utilize load locks, straps, covers, etc. to ensure cargo is delivered in good condition.
  • Report any irregularities related to pick-up and/or delivery of cargo, such as damage, shortage, customer complaints, or customer requests.
  • Maintain radio contact or communication with dispatch office and promptly report delays due to weather conditions, breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience in the industry and in type of vehicle to be driven.
  • Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state issued Class C Driver's License issued by the driver's home state of residence.
  • Acceptable driving record as defined by DOT regulations, TSA regulations, and Company policy.
  • Must meet the physical requirements established by the DOT and have, or be able to provide a current valid medical card.
  • Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Card as needed.
