Froster

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Froster to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #458. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious Bundt cakes that exceed our customers' expectations.

• Follow our proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
• Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure our standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and our policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

• Can understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Understand basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Have the ability to perform repetitious tasks that require precise and continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Have the physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
• Be meticulous about using exact measurements, paying strict attention to timing, and working on a tight, fast-paced production schedule.
• Evaluate products, processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
• Possess the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
• Be diligent, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate independently with minimal supervision.
