Position Overview
This role involves collaborating globally to enhance operational efficiency through automation. The primary focus is on designing, implementing, and deploying SAP ERP solutions tailored for Production Planning (PP), which encompasses S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), Forecasting, Purchasing, MRP (Materials Requirements Planning), MPS (Master Production Schedule), and comprehensive manufacturing processes, as well as Procurement Processes and Supply Chain Operations.
Technical Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and support of SAP PP & MM functionalities.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Operations, covering areas such as Sales & Operations Planning, Forecasting, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Demand Management, Manufacturing processes, Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Product Master Data, MRP, MPS, Work centers, Inventory, Costing, and Stock Controls.
- Engage in process analysis and redesign to enhance system capabilities.
- Manage facility parameters including MRP controller, MRP groups, MRP types, Lot sizing procedures, and availability checks for components.
- Oversee SAP operation department activities, including order creation, planned order conversions, shop paper printing, goods movements, order confirmations, and availability checks.
- Implement repetitive manufacturing environments for production activities.
- Facilitate Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Evaluation, and Levelling to allocate operations to resources.
- Collaborate with the Costs and Finance Control team to resolve issues related to costing sheets, activity pricing, work centers, activity types, cost center assignments, and product cost collectors.
Business Strategy, Processes & Administration
- Identify and propose enhancements to business processes and systems proactively.
- Work independently and may mentor junior team members.
- Conduct detailed analyses of complex business process requirements and provide suitable system solutions; document customer requirements accurately.
- Analyze current business requirements (As Is), design business processes, and propose functional solutions for future states (To Be).
- Create functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and forms.
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements.
- Design, configure, customize, test, and document SAP PP features.
- Manage third-party project execution and improvements.
- Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software issues.
- Participate in system upgrades, including end-to-end testing.
- Develop and implement testing plans for processes and configurations to ensure quality.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and training.
- Train users on processes, procedures, and systems.
- Support daily operational issues, prioritizing critical concerns.
- Handle urgent changes or emergency transports as required.
- Provide timely responses to end-user inquiries and help desk tickets.
- Serve as a liaison between business and IT.
- Maintain focus on security, standards, and compliance policies while developing optimal solutions.
- Ensure timely closure of tickets according to predefined SLAs.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in full-cycle implementations and support projects.
- Ten (10) years of expertise in designing and configuring PP & MM modules, with knowledge of key integration points with other SAP modules.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing projects with third parties, including team management, project costs, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Proven track record of achieving Go-Live dates and providing Go-Live and Post Live Support, including end-user training and documentation.
- Experience coordinating with technical consultants and providing functional specifications for custom reports.
- Involvement in unit and integration testing with other modules, including test scenario creation.
- Global functional experience, including two full life cycle SAP-ECC 6.0 implementations and production support in PP & MM modules.
- Proficient in ASAP methodology for structured SAP project implementation.
- Willingness to travel as required by business needs, with valid driver’s license and travel documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English (listening, verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal).

Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- SAP ECC-6.0 Certified in PP/MM
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of accounting business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology.
Compensation
$115,000 - $135,000.
