Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures and assisting with diagnostic evaluations in a medical imaging setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct mammography screenings and diagnostic exams to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Assist with other medical imaging procedures such as CT scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center and Emergency Medicine setting to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in mammography techniques and equipment operation to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging principles to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) environment is beneficial to provide seamless patient care.
  • Familiarity with PET scans and CT scans is a plus to provide comprehensive patient care.
