Our client, a leading healthcare company, seeks a Staff Accountant to join its dynamic Finance team. This role involves various month-end financial analyses and activities associated with the month-end financial close, as well as Payroll responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform account reconciliation and analysis, including Cash, Accounts Receivable, Prepaid Expenses, Deposits, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Accrued Expenses, Notes Payable, Members Equity, Inter-company balances, Payroll, etc.
- Create and post Journal Entries, including maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocations.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare monthly bank and petty cash reconciliation; Monthly Expense report processing and reconciliation with the accounting system and AMEX credit card statements.
- Assist with preparation for annual audits.
