Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at MSI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate selection and placement of flooring product orders on pallets, shrink-wrapping each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate Order Selection and Placement: Verify shipping orders on a tablet, select and place flooring product orders on pallets, and shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data.
  • Freight Coordination: Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations and contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment and perform additional duties as required or requested.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Warehouse Experience: One year of warehouse experience is required.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Tablet Proficiency: Proficiency with a tablet or iPad is necessary.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to Follow Instructions and Work Under Pressure: Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure is crucial.

Estimated Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is between $58,690 and $76,180 annually, based on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
