Diesel Mechanic Specialist

At Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores, we're seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and interacting with customers.

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with various components of diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.

You'll provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that drivers and passengers receive the best possible experience at our travel stops.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines
• Assist customers with roadside services, including fuel delivery and tire changes
• Perform preventative maintenance services to extend the life of vehicles

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with diesel engines
• The ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
• A valid medical card issued by the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include:
