Responsibilities- Conduct thorough health assessments, including medical history and physical examinations, to diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical, social, and cultural needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related specialty.
- Current medical license to practice in the State of California, including DEA license and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a community health setting, preferably in a primary care setting.
