Job Summary:
Rincon Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Sr. DSP Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge digital signal processing systems for communication signals, radar signals, and other applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of digital signal processing systems for communication signals, radar signals, and other applications.
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and test software-based solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with signal processing technologies, tools, and methodologies and experiment with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects.
- Work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project provide real-world contributions that make a significant difference.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other equivalent field.
- At least 15 years' experience in a signal processing engineering-related discipline.
- Subject matter expert in DSP, including deep knowledge of DSP theory and a track record of successful system development.
- Experience as a project technical lead and/or principle investigator.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and providing technical advice to program management.
- Proficient in C++ and/or Python in LINUX environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.
Preferred Background:
- Cellular communications, satellite communications, modern modulation schemes, cyclostationary techniques.
- Geolocation, radar signal processing, RF propagation and link budgets, RF system design.
- DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP).
- Experience as technical lead on proposal efforts.
- Current TS/SCI clearance.
