About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize production processes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history.
  • Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial technology) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related role.
  • Proven track record of improving maintenance efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
