Job Summary:The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our team of neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to critically ill newborns. This role requires a strong foundation in neonatal nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct rounds, perform procedures, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in neonatal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our team's best practices.
- Current APRN national specialty certification.
- Minimum of a master's degree.
- Strong foundation in neonatal nursing and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
