Cabinet Fabricator

Overview:

Cabinet Fabricators at Flexjet are skilled craftsmen responsible for manufacturing and fabricating high-quality cabinetry for our aircraft. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and excellent teamwork skills. As a key member of our Interiors Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Manufacture and assemble cabinetry from raw materials, including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal, and veneers.
2. Construct interior components to meet customer specifications.
3. Fabricate, fit, trim, and install interior components, galleys, bulkheads, doors, side ledges, trays, and conference tables.
4. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
5. Inspect and inventory incoming cabinetry for existing damage.
6. Protect and tag all items using proper interior nomenclature for part identification.
7. Read and interpret equipment manuals to complete all tasks.
8. Complete associated paperwork thoroughly and accurately for all work accomplished.
9. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
10. Seek opportunities to cross-train and develop technical skills and business knowledge.
11. Assist aircraft technicians when necessary.
12. Ensure functional tests of all installed items are satisfactory.
13. Perform other duties as required.
14. Collaborate with engineering staff and draftsmen to generate drawings and renderings.
15. Work with DERs to provide structural data when necessary.
