We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Worksite Medical's Occupational Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and administrative skills, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in an occupational medicine setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately.
- Perform basic medical procedures under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients on occupational health practices and treatment plans.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during medical procedures.
- Schedule patient appointments, coordinate referrals, and manage patient records efficiently.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process billing information accurately.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Complete and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Previous experience in occupational medicine or a related healthcare setting is advantageous.
